Why Tanjung Delima

What we offer that
others do not

A considered comparison — not promotional, just factual — of what distinguishes education built with care from content built for volume.

Core Advantages

Six things we are particular about

Designed for Malaysians 40+

Every programme is written for people who have already built a financial history and are now thinking seriously about the decades ahead — not generic content reworked for a local audience.

Grounded in Malaysian Law

EPF rules, faraid, hibah, the PDPA, and the relevant estate frameworks are covered as they actually operate in Malaysia — not translated from overseas material.

Licensed Professionals Involved

The one-to-one and combined sessions in our EPF and Succession programmes are conducted by practitioners who hold current licences — not speakers or content creators.

No Product Sales, No Referral Fees

We earn only from course fees. We do not sell financial products, receive commissions, or benefit from any recommendation made during a programme.

Plain Language Throughout

Every term is defined when it first appears. We do not use complexity as a proxy for expertise. The standard we hold ourselves to: could a thoughtful non-specialist follow this clearly?

Structured for Unhurried Learning

Our shortest programme runs six weeks. Ideas are introduced, applied, and revisited. We do not compress material into weekends and we do not reward completion speed.

In Depth

What each advantage means in practice

Professional Expertise

Our founding team has a combined 40 years of practice in financial planning, law, and adult education. The course content is written by practitioners, reviewed annually, and updated to reflect regulatory changes rather than left to age on a platform.

When we say a session is conducted by a licensed financial planner or a qualified lawyer, we mean they hold current registration — not that they passed an exam some years ago and have since moved into content creation.

  • 19 years of licensed financial planning practice
  • Estate law expertise from an active Malaysian advocate
  • Shariah-qualified planning contribution to Succession programme
  • All licences verified annually before each cohort
  • Curriculum reviewed and updated every 12 months
  • Self-paced online course delivery — study when it suits you
  • Video call or in-person one-to-one sessions available
  • Downloadable templates and printed materials included
  • Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • 12-month access window — no pressure to rush

Technology and Delivery

Our programmes are delivered through a clean, readable online platform — no cluttered app, no gamification, no push notifications. The design reflects the same values as the content: calm, considered, and focused on the task at hand.

Printed materials are included where the content benefits from being held on paper. The Financial Plan programme, in particular, includes a printed plan template specifically designed for Malaysian households.

Support and Communication

Learners receive a direct contact for questions throughout the programme. Responses are provided within two working days. Our team in Ipoh is reachable by phone during office hours for those who prefer a conversation to a message.

We do not route enquiries through chatbots or overseas call centres. When you contact us, you speak to someone involved in running the programmes.

  • Direct email contact with the course team
  • Phone support during Ipoh office hours
  • Two working-day response commitment
  • Deferral option available in the first 30 days
  • Post-course questions welcomed for 90 days
  • Pricing set by course length and professional involvement — no extras
  • One-to-one sessions included in EPF and Succession programmes
  • Instalment arrangements available on request
  • All materials — digital and printed — included in the fee
  • No upselling during or after the programme

Value and Pricing

Our prices reflect the actual cost of quality education — licensed professional time, carefully written materials, and a small team that maintains standards rather than pursuing volume. We do not offer steep discounts or countdown timers because neither practice is honest.

Programmes range from RM 805 to RM 3,270. For context: a single one-hour session with a licensed financial planner in Malaysia typically costs RM 300–500. The EPF programme includes two such sessions, as well as ten weeks of structured course material.

Results and Outcomes

We are careful about how we describe outcomes. Finance education does not produce financial results — it produces informed people who are better equipped to make decisions. That is what we measure: did the learner complete a written financial plan? Did they understand the EPF withdrawal options available to them? Did they walk away with a succession file their family can actually use?

Over 90% of learners who complete the Financial Plan programme report having produced a written plan they feel confident in. Most describe the EPF sessions as the first time they understood their withdrawal choices without feeling rushed or sold to.

  • Clear, measurable learning goals for each programme
  • Practical templates and documents produced during the course
  • Structured feedback collected at programme end
  • Post-course review session available for Succession learners
  • Honest about what education can and cannot achieve

Side by Side

How our approach compares

A factual comparison between education built at scale and education built with care. We have not named any other provider — this reflects common practice in the market, not any specific organisation.

What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive features

The only Malaysian finance education programme that covers both Muslim and non-Muslim succession frameworks in a single course

Our Succession and Hibah programme addresses wasiat, hibah, faraid, and non-Muslim estate planning within one coherent structure — a combination that is not available elsewhere at this level of care.

A printed financial plan template designed specifically for Malaysian households

The Financial Plan programme includes a physical template — not a PDF to print yourself — that guides learners through the sections of a household financial plan in a format designed for the Malaysian context.

Annual regulatory review, not a static library

EPF rules change. Tax treatment changes. Succession law is amended. We review every programme each year and inform enrolled learners of material updates. This is the commitment we make and keep.

A small team that answers when you call

We are based in Ipoh. Our team is reachable by phone during office hours. Enquiries are answered by people involved in the programmes — not through a ticketing system or an outsourced support team.
